I've been running an ancient version of SRS on an ancient SPARC 280R server. I'd like to move the SunRay software for a small number of older SunRays 1Gs from the SPARC to a much newer x86 machine (Sun) running Solaris 11.1. What exactly do I need to purchase to be legal and covered for software updates/patches/firmware updates? The proposed machine is currently covered by hardware/software maintenance from Oracle and I have a license for studio compliers. We are a very small group that only has a few machines so finding someone from Oracle willing to talk about what we need to purchase wasn't very productive a couple of years ago.
