Mistery resolved - missing comma in system keymap file - /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/sun_vndr/sk
# diff sk ~/conf/backup/sk 37c37 < key <TLDE> { [ semicolon, dead_abovering, grave, asciitilde ] }; --- > key <TLDE> { [ semicolon, dead_abovering, grave asciitilde ] }; The missing comma is not a problem, if Xorg is used (i.e. no Sun Ray Software installed). It becomes a problem once the Sun Ray Software is installed, the Xnewt is used. Xnewt it is more strict? Just hypothesis.
