[forgive me for not having been able to look at this site yet]

Most of the Art of Noise's "samples" where samples in the sense of
digitizations of things that they recorded themselves, rather than
taking things from other people's records. I've always presumed that
based on this, the "hey" is included in that- and if the Art of Noise
had taken it from someone else, they wouldn't have appeared on the
Prodigy's writing credit. The voice is (I'm fairly certain) Anne
Dudley's, therefore Art of Noise appear on the credits.

For an example of the Art of Noise's brilliance when it came to sampling
& soundscaping, check out their album "In No Sense Nonsense". It's
staggering.

Back to Sunscreem:

I've heard the "oh yeah" bit from "Perfect Motion" (which I think is
Lucia, unless Sunscreem have sampled it?) on at least a couple of other
records (ie. sampled by other people), but can't remember either of them
offhand. If I remeber I'll let people know, but in the meantime can
anyone put me out of my misery?

Stuart.

PS. Last time I advertised a Sunscreem item on this list I was inundated
with requests for it and spent ages just apologising to people that they
weren't the first to reply. So this time I'll slip it into a postscript
instead. FS: 1 copy of "Broken English", promo CD in generic Sony S2
"for promotional use only" case, includes 7" version, slam vocal mix,
broken rhythm, & the well hung parliament mix (unreleased on CD in the
UK?). Perfect condition. I'm hoping for 8 UKP (US$16) plus postage, or
nearest offer... anyone?
