1. i can't get all the lyrics - it's just too difficult with the drunken
k-klass wombling in the background
2. i have 3 "formats" - vinyl->md, vinyl->cd, and vinyl. (i only tried the
first two.)
3. i graduated college (uni for you limeys) in 92, & don't speak french
anymore everyday
4. lucia has an interesting accent!
5. re-reading the translation - it's not really good - i just couldn't get
the lyrics...
ok - i didn't get it all - the parts i did get -
l'ami (the friend)
ce qui t'insure d'ennui (which protects you from boredom)
tu n'est pas seul x 2 (you're not alone)
les yeux ('your' eyes, in this case, in french you don't actually say "your"
eyes)
les yeux vont t'abandonner (your eyes will leave (abandon) you)
...
(then it sounds like)
quand souviens-toi (when you remember?) this is actually a question, if i
have the words right
tout ??? vers l'amour (everything? goes towards love)
??? sauf pas pourquoi (but not why)
c'est plus fort que toi (it's stronger than you ... parallel to 'it's out of
our hands')
sourez ??? partage dans le choix (smile - i don't think i heard that
right. - share in the choice)
prison - ce n'est qu'un etat d'esprit pour toi (prison is only a state of
mind for you)
Well that's about it. (i didn't repeat the lines that repeat in the song.)
