::Dance Track Leads Superstars
::
::Hollywood superstars Whitney Houston and Jennifer Lopez look set to lose their
:battle to top the [UK] pop charts.
::
::Tracks from the pair are expected to be topped by a cult dancefloor single.
::
::The ATB single 9pm (Till I Come) - a huge hit with clubbers on the holiday island of
:Ibiza - is well ahead of both tracks, according to early sales figures.

There are a couple of reasons I posted this. One - I love the comical use of the word
"Cult" (gotta be careful with the typing there!) to describe dance music. Second -
from what I can remember this has to be the first "straight in at number one" for a
trance track in a long time (ever?). Third - I think this shows some very clever
timing on Ministry's part...they have timed it to coincide with the first wave of
people returning from Ibiza (the opening parties were held over the last 2 weeks). So
they held off a while to build up a bit of hype, but they didn't hold off so long
everyone forgot about it!! (big hint to SS there!!).

Anyway....back to work.

Adam.
