Well it goes to show that people read into lyrics what they want them to say....
I have to be honest and say that I thought Secrets was actually being a tad
sarcastic to the religious lot.

Also your interpretation of Chaos being Evil and Order being Good is a little
miss placed....
Hilter wanted a World Order.... with his pure Aryan race.... that was the most
evil set of people and yet that was 'Order' not Chaos.
Give me a little Chaos anytime.... Order (Stagnation....) Chaos (Change)...
What I think No Angel may be saying is don't read things as Black and
White..... sort of grey !!

(Phew, that was deep for a Thursday night !)

The 'chaos' theme repeats itself often in L & P's lyrics,
a worrisome sign to those of us who are religious (anyone?)

>No Angel< croons it's siren song:

"You won't find me
 In stained glass windows
 So let me be
The voice inside" - uh, Lucia wants to be ... your conscience?

"You listened to
 The words of angels
 And left confused
By wrong and right" - Most murderers & criminal types don't
have a sense of right & wrong, are we
celebrating this in some sadistic way?

"There's no such thing
As good or evil" - Now -that's- silly. :)

Wonder if anyone in the band is remotely religious?
The lyrics, especially those in >Change or Die<,
seem acutely anti-religious?? They promote a pro-chaos,
do-what-feels-good, anything goes message.

Then I hear songs like Secrets & Be Of Good Heart
and it seems like they suddenly believe in God again.
