It's a pretty common poem, if I can say so. There have been all sorts of
musical settings to it, some of which my Dad owns on vinyl etc.
Every time I heard Baz Luhrrman's god-awful "Everybody's Free (To Wear
Sunscreen)" I'm reminded of Desiderata- if you read it through you
should see why (methinks Bazza was having a touch of the unoriginals).
Then I turn the Baz Luhrrman track off.
