Actually, that reminds me of a short story I once read. Basically, this kid
was so stupid he couldn't do maths. So he created a machine which would do
it for him. There was more to it and generally he kept inventing things
which were fiendishly clever because he himself wasn't and couldn't do
things for himself.
He had a test at school which was a fill in the blanks test of which he
naturally got them all wrong. The specific one I remember was when it came
to the question: '________ is the mother of invention.'
He put in 'stupidity', because that described himself. But the teacher
marked it wrong.
Oh well, just thought I'd share. Quite a good story, actually.
