I agree with you totally. American people need to wake up and smell the
Sunscreem. I was out in an after hours club last weekend and the music
was house, progressive house, techno mix by a local Dj. sunscreem would
have fit in very nicely with his session, and when asked if he had any
he said "no":-(.........LOOSER!!! Why don't they wake up? The gay
population has always embraced SS but the mainstream (straight) club
people are not hearing them. Every time I play SS for people there like
WOW who is that, why have I not heard this. the only answer I can give
them is that I don't know? have you been to any gay circuit parties? I
guess it must be lack of exposure to nightlife or something like that.
And then like a good SSboy, I tell them about the web site and how they
can order the CD's directly from SS. and to ask the Dj to play them when
there out and about. I however, am proud to be an American who has
fallen in love with SS since 1991-92 era.
It must be some kind of marketing or distribution problem. I guess all
we American SS fans can do is play it for people whenever we can. The
music speaks for itself. Remember -Trust in love to save. Brian :-)
