Nuff said:)

Tho if you want a vaguely more descriptive description...

Myself and 2 mates turned up in clacton about 8:30 and wandered off to
find the pier, stopping along the way to give directions to the stilt
walkers ("erm... dunno where the niteclub is.":)

Made it to the pier, to find that noone else was actually meant to turn
up there. So we wandered back, discovered the secret location of the
niteclub and told the world (well, adam) where it was (its on the left,
next to barclays, which has a great big whacking towery thing on top of
it... head towards the lights!).

And then stood in line. and stood... and stood... and stood

9:45, they finally opened the doors and let people in Only 45 mins
late, so better than a virgin train:)

and so the nite began. most of the music was fairly "retro", tho still
way dancable - a lot of the tunes i have hiding on various tapes from
92/3/4.

So we wandered and danced and drank beer until about 11pm, when we began
our migration to the front of the stage. where we discovered Adam,
thingym...erm... charles and Paul (i think...), who had finally arrived
after taking the scenic route via the chunnel or somesuch. So we all
bopped around for a bit and Sunscreem made their appearance and began
pressing various buttons and saying hi to people they hadnt seen for 5
or 6 years.

Then they kicked off... or attempted to, as Lucia's mike seemed a bit
cabbaged at the beginning. But they pressed on regardless, and
everything sorted itself out.

They had a drummer-dude who seemed just as into it as Lucia and Paul
(Anyone who's seen paul pressing buttons on his keyboards will know he
does it with *style* and an epic grin) which made life all the more fun,
though I didnt get to meet and greet him.

Damn good set:

And a few more... tho possibly not quite enough:)

After that, they wandered off, and i resumed the beer-drinking thing
with Charles(i'm still impressed... and the dancers weren't too bad
either matey:) until Adam did his total-top-blokey act and sneaked me
into the VIP lounge area, where I learned about strawberries and the art
of conversing in french, while trying to work out how to fit sunscreem
in my living room, after paul claimed "We only tend to play invitations
now... we got tired of trekking up the M1".

As the nite wound down, i wandered back down, to discover Paul and Lucia
chatting away in a corner, so I said goodbye and dragged my friends
along to say similar stuff.

An epic battle to reclaim our coats (another 25 minute queue), a trip
out for some chicken and a mild quantity of humiliation (thanks Nat),
and we were left on the streets of clacton. So we looked at each other,
thought "sod this" and caught a taxi back to Ipswich for a mere 35 quid.

And that's that...

Good nite, good set

Kudos to Adam for being a top bloke, congrats for Nat for making it onto
the guest list and many thanks to Sunscreem for a way cool nite
