Yeah, Rollergirl's cover of LUM was mentioned on the list before. It was
released as a single in some parts of Europe but didn't do as well as her
previous single, a cover of Madonna's Dear Jessie. Neither were particularly
great, and although I generally hate cheesy dance remakes like these (i.e.
anything on Klone) I didn't mind her version too much. At least she didn't
sanitise the lyrics as Steps did.
The 3 covers of LuM are by DJ Paul Elstak, Steps and Rollergirl. Anyone know
of any more? Remember there was a bootleg "remix" of Perfect Motion out late
last year that SS distanced themselves from, which I haven't heard. Any news
on when their new Y2K remix of PM will show up?
