Good morning everyone. It is 4:30am here on the east coast and we have just
returned from the Blue Ball show in Philly.
We had a great time. The band hit the stage at about 12:45 played four songs
and was gone before 1:15. They were:
Perfect Motion(Jimmy Gomez)
Catch(Red Jerry)
When( who the heck remixed this?? it is late and i forget!)
Looking at You(Jimmy Gomez)
They sounded great and Lucia's voice is amazing----no lip synching here!
This event was packed with gay men. The crowd was 98% men and about 60% of
them were shirtless. i got stuck behind a shirtless group at the front of the
stage who appeared to have no interest in what was going on. Still, i managed
to make my way to the front and could not have asked for a better venue to
see them in.
This was an old museum set up for a big party. Lot's of room to dance and
move about. By the time Sunscreem played the place was filled and the crowd
was moving. The stage was at the back of the room and you could get close
enough to slap hands with Lucia , which a few people did!
A wonderful 30 minutes........Can't wait to do it again!
