I was thinking about this on the way to work this
morning while listening to a DJ Sasha CD.

There is a sound that Sunscreem has that I first
became familiar with when I was o3 (trying to remember
when i got it... 1994 during the spring i believe),
I'm not really sure how to explain it, but it is
consistent in their music (not all songs, but many).

I find when I listen to other music and I hear this
sound, I instantly think 'Sunscreem'. I don't think
I'll ever be able to hear the style/sound without
thinking that.

I think that's pretty kewl especially considering
there are so many androgenous (sp) groups out there
that just fail to have a 'sound' that people can
recognize. I think that is part of what creates the
following some groups get ... is the 'sound'.
