I've been having similar problems with it, but after a while I did
exactly the opposite thing, and dropped everything except the vocals
themselves. I even started fiddling about with those; not sure the
purists would be too happy with my mix but never mind... I still don't
feel like I've got anywhere though, but then I haven't had too much
time. One weekend I'll just sit down and finish the thing. Which
evidently makes me a weekend techno weenie... I'll have to remember that
one. :-)
