Ahhhhhh WLIR  How I miss that station.  Of course they would still play
Sunscreem they are and always have been "The station that dares to be
different."  I grew up in NJ barely within reach of the signal and they were
my exposure to New Wave, which lead me to synth-pop and in turn techno.  Now
if KROQ in L.A. would only go back to being the cool station is was when I
moved out here in 87.
