Well, I agree that the re-releases help SS's positioning and they should
continue what they're doing on that front, but I'm beyond frustration at the
OOTW's delays, too. We're so overdue for new material. I believe that SS's
music has more "staying power" than most music of a similar genre. When
their tracks are 2 years old, they don't sound horribly outdated like many
other bands do. I wonder if this is working to the detriment of the fans
when we're waiting for new material. SS can hold out for a better publisher
without much fear of the tracks getting too stale, even if they aren't
constantly reworking the tracks...

I don't remember if I piped up during the initial discussion when it was
released, but I didn't like "Coda" as much as most of SS's other material
either, and I don't just mean for its remixability. Even though I don't have
the skills to remix music, I might have taught myself (just for fun) if they
had used any of their other tracks. The ones you mentioned probably would
have been my top choices as well.
