I was mixing up a bit of a blinder with all these last night actually - I
brought back a (large) bag full of vinyl from Ibiza a couple of weeks ago, and
Zombie Nation, Sister Sister & Delerium were 3 of the biggest tunes this year.
Also "Home" (I forget who it's by - but it's on the new GC album) and A&N's
Hudson Street (picked up a white label double pack of that with some storming
but unnamed mixes).
As for albums I'd put that GC compilation at the top of my list at the moment
- top stuff. Shame the tracks are so short, and it sounds like it's been mixed
by a robot, but the amount of new material they put on their CDs puts them way
above the rest of the crowd (except of course GU).
As a final note, a few people have mailed me asking about my mix CDs, and I
haven't replied (sorry!). The good news is you can now get the details off the
web - flit over to http://www.adamreeve.com and go to the music page. If
anyone on the list wants any of the stuff listed drop me a line - new mixes
will be put up there as they are released. There will also be streaming
versions available at some point...I'll let you all know when.
