I only found out a few days ago when a parcel dropped on my desk - so to be
honest I hadn't really had a chance to mail anything. I had previously heard
that some mixes had been done but that was about it. I'm not even sure if you
can actually buy this single yet - the Cool Cuts chart includes pre-release
stuff. As far as I know it's vinyl only at the moment, with a CD to follow
(more on that later).
And to answer the other question about the remix comp, yes it has closed. A
winner has been picked but the announcement is being held while final
decisions are being made about the exact prize. It's pretty special tho! One
thing I can pass on is how impressed everyone was with the entries, loads of
different styles which was nice to see. I only got to hear a couple (which
were were very cool) but P&L have listened through all of them (many times!)
to pick the winner. Kudos to everyone who sent something in.
