The problem statements for sunsetting IPv4 on "attached networks" are different than the one from "upstream networks". I think the focus should be on " turning off IPv4 definitively" on "upstream networks". The Internet itself, not the intranets, and doing a gap analysis focused on what is required at a minimum for "attached networks" to work in this environment, and what is required for the "upstream network" to work exclusively in IPv6. > -----Original Message----- > From: sunset4 [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of internet- > [email protected] > Sent: Monday, June 26, 2017 1:07 PM > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: [sunset4] I-D Action: draft-ietf-sunset4-gapanalysis-08.txt > > > A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts > directories. > This draft is a work item of the Sunsetting IPv4 of the IETF. > > Title : Gap Analysis for IPv4 Sunset > Authors : Will(Shucheng) Liu > Weiping Xu > Cathy Zhou > Tina Tsou > Simon Perreault > China Mobile > Filename : draft-ietf-sunset4-gapanalysis-08.txt > Pages : 11 > Date : 2017-06-26 > > Abstract: > Sunsetting IPv4 refers to the process of turning off IPv4 > definitively.
