I did some printf-debugging at shutdown time and am now really puzzled
why SourceManager.save_source is not invoked. The function Index.save
and SourceManager.save_source look as follows:
def save
debug "saving index and sources..."
FileUtils.mkdir_p @dir unless File.exists? @dir
-> debug "*** Index.save"
SourceManager.save_sources
save_index
end
def save_sources fn=Redwood::SOURCE_FN
-> debug "*** SourceManager.save_sources"
@source_mutex.synchronize do
...
end
end
Adding the with -> marked statement in Index.save printed, however, not
the debug statement in SourceManager.save_sources! Any ideas how this is
possible?
