One of the problems is that there aren't a lot (any) good choices. They
all have a problem.
The Ult. Rez. card is also from ixMicro. While it is cheap and faster than
the TT, there's no support and it causes problems if installed in a lower
slot fo the S900/J700.
The Voodoo cards are nice but with 3DFX gone, again, there's no support and
the drivers that are available were never called anything but beta
releases.
The Rage 128 cards were good, but they're discontinued, replaced by the
Radeons and so hard to get and impossible to get new.
The Radeons have several problems if you want to run more than one monitor.
ATI seems to have completely blown the drivers as far as multiple monitor
support goes. So unless you're a one-monitor person, I'd avoid the Radeon.
(Based on reports that I have read. Open to conflicting reports.)
The Formac card seems to be pretty good, though I think they may have just
discontinued it. It's a little pricey, but I think I'd look for one of
those. I can't remember the model number though.
