I have posted this to the Duo, SM, and Swap lists, as something of a
warning, and a recourse.
Recently, a number of people have commented about problems with ebay
and dead-beat buyers and sellers.
While I have had a string of totally successful Ebay transactions, I
have finally been burned. Granted, it was only for $7, but it is the
principle of the matter.
I am posting here to give an idea of what one should do in a case of
Ebay fraud. While I have just started the ball rolling, I am hoping
my careful email records should help the Ebay officials to do
something.
http://members.home.net/gionpeters/ebaybad.html
Describes my transaction with "Calibertech" (now "calibratedcurrent")
and how things went wrong.
Maybe I am dreaming here, but putting the web page up gives me some
sense of satisfaction.
thanks,
Mad Dog
