The actual maximum on our machines is at least 1.5 GB.  There are only
eight DIMM slots, though.  So 8 X 128 + 16 = 1040 MB of RAM.  I have run
machines in this configuration several times.  Note that NewerTech's Guage
Utility has a bug with this much RAM.

Also the Atto 3LD dual channel SCSI160 card seems to have some bugs that
manifest with more than either 576 MB or 896 MB.
