My understanding (think I saw it somewhere in the Tempo manual) is that most things like CD drives require software drivers, and the Tempo card does NOT support them. (The Tempo card provides a SCSI bus as far as the Mac's system is concerned, so there would be all sorts of problems trying to get drivers to work, I would think.)
