I just wanted to know which is faster for networking between three Macs for
now and four Macs in a few months. I ask because I'm setting up a home
network and I want to use my C600 as a file and print server for two Mac
laptops for now then I'll be getting another desktop in a few months that
I'll want to connect as well.
I want to know if it's better to go with AppleTalk or TCP/IP. AppleTalk
seems easier but I'm looking for the fastest method of file transfer. All of
the computers have 10/100 Base-T ethernet and I'm looking to transfer large
image and sound files to an 80GB drive in the C600 as fast as possible.
