hi all, well, i'm sellin my j700 in favor of buying one of them new G4's.
here is the rundown.
J700 SEVERELY modified ;)
-ATX minitower case
-XLR8 G3/300Mhz/1MB (i've got it clocked to 366 now, running stable)
-208MB RAM
-2x 2GB HD (one 5400rpm one 7200rpm)
-Voodoo3_3000 16MB (Clocked to 187 Mhz) with additional fan
-USB 2 port
-4x CD-R
-40x CD-ROM
-MacOS 9.1 installed (I can only give ya the original 7.5 CD tho)
problems with machine
-After the ATX conversion the floppy cable no longer reached the floppy
drive, HOWEVER, the floppy DOES work and a new floppy cable can't be that
expensive. worst case scenario i'll send ya the original case too and you
can put it back in there and the floppy cable will reach.
-The programmer's interupt switch and the front audio in/out are not mounted
on the case, however, i can supply you with a bezel for the front and they
can be mounted on there, but you gotta drill the holes in the bezel.
regardless they are attached and are fully functional, just not too pretty.
anyhow that's about it, the machine runs fine and i haven't had any problems
with it other than not being able to successfully install OSX. the reason
its for sale is because i want a new machine, plain and simple. anyhow i
thought i'dd give the list first dibs on it, but if no one wants it, i'm
putting it on ebay.
