I have never had to run mine in the first 2 slots. THe only problem that I have
experienced is upgrading the processor to an AMD K6-2 400MHz. I had to download a
"driver" of some sort to use with Windows 95. Once I did that, nothing out of the
ordinary/it ran like any other problematic Windows box ;-)
