I just bought the XLR8 (MPe SSE) G4/450 for $320 at OWC. I wanted to stick with XLR8 because they are supposed to be the most compatible with audio and DV apps, and the G3/500 was already relatively pricey at $270, so I figured it was worth the extra $50 to get the G4. Plus the option is open to add a second G4 in the future. I'll let you know how it goes and what kind of a boost I get from the XLR8 G3/233 (270) in my s900. Stephen
