I updated my J700 with a bootable OS9.1 created by my son. I didn't do a clean install just so I wouldn't lose anything (including my Laserwriter NTR drivers). It installed without any difficulty and without any major conflicts. I had to play with my extensions to weed out what I was no longer using and keeping everything that I am still using. It has been a rock solid OS since install. No conflicts since install with the following set up.
