For the record you do not need to have OS 9.2.x in order to install
nor run OSX. It installs just fine from OS 9.1. The Original OSX
10.01 disk installs from OS 9.04 but not the newer 10.1 it needs OS
9.1. OS 9.1 works just fine for classic with all current versions of
OSX in fact OS 9.2.x as classic crashes all the time on my machine so
I went back to 9.1 for classic. YMMV (your milage may vary) I see no
reason at this time for anyone to run OS 9.2.x on an older machine.
So speak up as to why you are or want to run OS 9.2.x ;-) will S
