I have two suggestions.

From where you are now, you should be able to move the 2940UW to one
of the lower four slots and put the AudioPhile card in one of the
upper two slots. That will probably solve your problems as both the
2940UW and the TT are very well behaved in lower slots.

However, if I was setting up your machine from scratch, didn't have
any prior experience with your machine and was choosing slots, I'd
try the TT and the AudioPhile in the upper two slots and the 2940UW
and the RapidFire in two of the lower slots. The reason is that
FireWire cards should work in the lower slots, the 2940UW doesn't
seem to perform very differently in upper or lower slots, and the TT
has much higher (like 5X) Copy Bits performance in the upper slots.
It is possible that the RapidFire was only giving you difficulty
because the AudioPhile is in a lower slot--though not at all certain.

Actually, I have a third suggestion. I've found with at least one
other card, that having the TT card physically lower than other cards
solves some incompatibilities. You may wish to move the TT below the
AudioPhile without moving anything else and see how that works. The
reason this has an affect is that physically higher cards are
initialized earlier and the order the cards are initialized can
affect whether they work properly or not.

Please report back on what you try and how it works out.
