I user the Newer utility RAMometer, test 1 dimm at a time surrounded by 2
known good dimms, and run the thing overnight.

My second VU dimm gone bad will not even boot the s900 now, so no need to
even get as far as RAMometer. >>

What is the reason for doing this . . . if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, 
right?  Are you testing efficiency??
