The CUDA is a small button switch in the bottom rear portion of the
mother board between the bottom PCI slot and the bottom of the case.
It is brown and about 1/16 inch in diameter. The PDF manual on the
S900 (from the Umax Web site) recommends 3 seconds hold time but
every S900 tinkerer has their own time. The only danger with the CUDA
is pressing too hard! Try this, remove the FireWire cable from the CD
and power down. Allow the system to boot up to the desktop. Once at
the desktop, power the FireWire drive on. Wait 20 seconds and connect
the FireWire cable to the drive. There are times the Bus does not
pick up on the external device. Which version of Toast? The earlier
version 4.1.2 had extension conflicts that haunted many a toast user.
HTH.
