Yes Will I did do the grab L2 cache settings thing first. The problem was
that I stupidly installed an "XLR8 Cache Control" file that seemed to defeat
Ryan's utility during loading. I got rid of that and all was well. In fact I
must say that I'm very pleased with the speed of OS X on this S900 G3/350!!
It's not as snappy as my G4/466, of course, but highly usable. This was a
very rewarding adventure all in all.

Finally, I really have to question Apple's decision to not support OS X on
most legacy Mac's. Sure it might have been a difficult exercise for them,
but the fact is that many of those old boxes run OS X quite well. Even a
604e processor is apparently not too bad at running OS X.

Having said that, I must give a huge THANKYOU to Ryan Rempel who took the
time to do what Apple chose not to. He's done an amazing courtesy to legacy
Mac owners. 

This list is pretty darn fine too. Thanks!
