There's not much variation in floppies unless you want to get one of 
the LS120 drives which are combo floppy drive/120 MB removable media 
drives.   But, why bother unless you know someone else using this 
format of disk with whom you wish to exchange data?

SmallDog has replacement Umax floppy drives on their Parts list for 
(I think) $19.  I have also picked them up on Ebay for about $5 (plus 
shipping).   Any of the manual insert floppies for Macs will work.
