You definitely have to update the ATM. The version that works with 
9.1 is 4.6, which I use with no problems. I think upgrading should 
allow you to change the system font usage. The older version of ATM 
that you're using can cause havoc by bringing about conflicts. That's 
why ConflictCatcher suggests trashing the CP. You might also have to 
upgrade ConflictCatcher to 8.1 if you haven't already done so. I 
don't think OS 9.1 likes anything older.
