I can't help you on your cpu slot question, because I don't know.

I can point you in the direction of some basic information about the 
various UMAX machines.    < www.lowendmac.com>

Along the right side of the page, about half way down, you will see an 
area listing various systems.  Just click on clones.  There you can 
check out the various UMAX configurations.
