I have been using Earthlink for about three years now, and like it very
much. We get a lot of mileage out of our standard dial-up account. I
use it at my business, and we use the same account at home. I can use
it anywhere I have traveled to, with my laptop. (they have a nice
listing on their main site, for finding a local dial up number) As long
as I don't connect two computers at the same time, they don't seem to
care where I access from, or what kind of machine I use.

Seem to have friendly an knowledgeable Mac tech support too, although it
has been a long time since I had to call them.
