Hi list. I reread Tim's original post several times and seem to think of
several questions. First, he mentions use of a new video cable causing
the initial problem when he used it. He said he lost the TV output part
of the card but still had computer video? He could have shorted part of
the card out or corrupted software, right? Second, he mentioned having
his SCSI raid card in a lower slot. If this card has a controller chip
shouldn't it be in Slot 1 or 2, with his video card in the other upper
slot? Third, he mentioned running OS9.1 and an older OS- could there be
a corrupted CD driver issue after his system failure? The driver used
for CD or Hard drives was never mentioned. I know the supplied FWB
drivers needed a $upgrade for OS9 so most of us hack the Apple driver or
use Intech drivers. Perhaps the above observations may help solve or at
least locate the problem for Tim. Paul
