Cracking keys, for one (http://www.distributed.net) :-) A/V & graphics work in a MP aware Classic environment. I'll need a refresher but I'm not sure Rempel's code enables the 2nd processor in X. If it does then then the BSD layer in X will handle the multi-tasking and threading between the processors, although some apps may be more MP friendly than others. Again, Photoshop should work well. In sum, a number of graphics and A/V types would probably give it a look but early MP G4 boxes would provide considerably more bang for the used buck than a 604e era box. -- Pax, Pastor Mac Made on a Macintosh, of course. -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
