Unfortunately, this virus is all over the place. I actualy found a virus on my PC this
weekend which was the culprit behind all my crashes and stuff. Im still trying to fix
the damn thing. This is what makes me hate Windows sooooooooo much......you fix one
problem, another arises. nothing is ever easy in Windows. Im in a gaming clan also,
and 3 other members were going through formats (out of maybe 12 members) of their
drives and reinstalls. Why dont people stand up in the Wintel world??? This is
ridiculous.....I was so frustrated the last month of crashes and instability with
WinXP, that after not even being able to restart at all on the PC, I ended up punching
the front panel of the PC, and cracking the plastic empty drive bay covers. THIS is
why I love Macs....for their easy fixability, and great stability. What good is all
the speed on my PC (dual 1 Ghz, GeForce 4 Ti 400) when my Umax is running circles
around it with uptime and productivity???? People are just so used to the crashing in
Windows that they think its just a normal part of life, like taking a shower, or
taking your car for a refill of gas. People have no idea how good of an alternative
they can have. I believe it to be the FEW people that actually do have stability with
Wintel, are the ones who harp the most about Windows (media, journalists, analysts),
are also the ones who dont do ANYTHING with their Wintel's other than surf the web and
email and Office. I've used just about every professional graphics program on the PC
side (Maya, Softimage, Max, Photoshop, After Effects, etc) as well as smaller
programs, games and utilities such as Hotline, Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Norton,
Radient, Explorer, Notepad, etc. crashing is a regular occurance. Programs
mysteriously closing...Connection Interrupts during online play....BSOD's....these
happen so often to ME, a Mac user, that Im getting to the point of throwing this POS
out into the driveway, shooting it to nothing with a shotgun, and filming it all to
send to Apple for their new Switch Ad campaign.

God bless Apple and their sanity inducing OS. I'd really be in a mental house with it.
=(

Sorry for the rant....it's been a long month.
