Hey Howie, I have installed 10.1.5 onto an external 2 Gb HD & I've been able to boot my S900, 7600 and 8500... YMMV...
But I think an install copy/dupe (CarbonCopyCloner) from a G4 (AGP) may not work on the unsupported clones as I'm thinking that OS X may install NEW World specific 'stuff' that may cause issues/conflicts w/ the Old World machines. It IS worth a try though... Dono' "Each one teach one." ******************* Message-id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Hey that reminds me of a thought I've been having... Why couldn't a person use CarbonCopyCloner to copy an existing OS X install (from say an Apple G4 tower), to a SCSI drive? (I have a SCSI card in my G4 tower). Then put the drive back in the S900 and use XPostFacto to boot into it. Is it worth a try? >> -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
