The memory sticks don't have to be the same size. They also don't have to be
EDO, although I suppose it's a good idea if they match. The main thing is
get 2K refresh, 5v, buffered. This web site gives a good description and a

You'll notice on this page that they recommend FPM rather than EDO RAM. I
personally don't agree with this, based on my experience. I've never had a
problem using EDO RAM in either the C500 or C600, even mixing EDO with FPM.
I've purchased from memoryx many times and never had a problem with their
RAM. Also had good luck with 18004memory, OWC and Velocity Upgrades.
