First I'd like to thank all the people who helped in getting my power
supply problem sorted - with a special mention to Jeff Walther for his
downloadable instructions.

This morning I bought a PC ATX power supply and attached the S900 plugs
as per Jeff's instructions. I soldered the PC wires to the Umax wires -
not pretty but I'm typing on the Umax now.

There were some differences: a single twelve pin plug to the rear of the
motherboard rather than two six pin plugs, and the small 3-pin plug had
different wire colours (this caused me the most worry).

The Pulsar is a late model which I bought after Umax had ended
production, which might account for the differences.
