Reread my post, I wasn't suggesting he run out and spend a hundred bucks.
Perhaps I live in a different reality, but we Mac folks stick together, and
there's always a friend willing to pop by with his/her Norton CD (or
whatever) to help troubleshoot an ailing Mac. I go out of my way to help Mac
folks as well, people drop machines off at my house now and then, much to
the disapproval of my wife, mind you.  =)
