Well, when you send a jpeg, you are basically attaching the file to send it no
matter which method you choose.

If you want the image to open in the e-mail message box, open a new message
window and drag/drop into the message text block. This should open the image in
the text window instead of showing up as an attachment.

That's all I know from personal experience.
