This card is one of the best for OSX . It works out of the box and
has no issues with OSX. It can be used in any PCI slot though maybe a
bit faster in slot 1 or 2. I have one and used it for OS 9.x and OSX
for the last 2 years.Mine came as a 4mb card which I was able to
upgrade to a 8mb card. I just found an ATI Rage 128 Orion 16mb card
for the amazing to me price of $49.00. To my surprise I can see no
difference when compared to the ATI XClaim Rage Pro 3D card. It is a
lot faster in OS 9x. The main thing is I can now play DVD's with DVD
player in both OS9 and OSX.If I hadn't wanted to be able to play
DVD's there would have been no reason to upgrade. The ATI Orion had
installing and booting issues until the OSX .10.1.5 upgrade and also
works fine with Jaguar. If the price is right I say go for it. Will S
