The S900 is capable of having 2 CPUs internally, but it is of very limited 
use.   MacOS 9 will report that you have 2 processors but it won't use the 
2nd CPU at all.   Certain applications will use it (Photoshop and Quicktime 
are the only 2 that come to mind).  MacOS prior to X is really too 
brain-dead to use multiple CPUs.

You're much better off with a faster single CPU.   There are many G3 and G4 
CPU upgrades available for the S900, from G3 300 mhz up to G4 800 mhz!
