These upgrade cards are installed the the Carrier Zif MPe board in the ZIF 
socket. The G4 Processor is then re-installed on the velocity card. A second 
processor Zif socket could also be filled with another G4 processor. The two 
processors do not have to be the same speed. IE 350 mhz G4 and 450 mhz G4.

With XLR8 defunct who has picked up their leftover inventory of these and 
other cards? 
Has anyone on the list ever successfully utilized these cards with two 
processors to run OS-X ver 1.X? Are any particular hacks involved besides the 
Ryan's ? Other World Computing would seem like a likely choice for source but 
they seem to have withdrawn all the XLR8 products from inventory.

I will research the archives but am also looking for current info on 
multiprocessing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
