I just acquired a slot iMac 450 running sys 9.04. It has 512 mb of RAM and a 20 gig hd. I am confused by the advertising re: jaguar and os x . . . I downloaded the 9.2.2 upgrade, and find it requires 9.1 installed.
Where can I get the next step to OS X from 9.04? I went to the Apple site and found the download, but it is 71 mb. That's ridiculous with a 56k modem. Any ideas? Who is selling the OS X CD?
